The Puerto Rico Tourism Company selected the Global Development Solutions team to assist them with the redevelopment of a pristine and underutilized oceanfront site in the municipality of Cabo Rojo. Known as Punta Guanajibo, the site offers the successful proposer the exceptional opportunity to develop a resort residential project that would benefit from a unique oceanfront location and close proximity to some of the best beaches on the Island.

The development concept envisioned for this 72-acre mountain site is to create a secluded residential project, which may also include a small resort hotel and "wellness spa" incorporating the site's historic structures, condo hotel units and whole-ownership villas. The retreat could also offer sailing or boating opportunities.
